WELCOME TO THE WEB DESIGN + BRANDING BLOG FROM ARTISAN KIND
If your website isn’t a reliable source of new clients, the problem usually falls into one of two camps. Either people aren’t finding your business at all thanks to SEO issues, or they’re finding you and clicking around, but then leave. No email, no booking, no sale!
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And here’s the good news: you don’t need to start from scratch with a brand new website. Sometimes you don’t need to tear it all down and rebuild. Sometimes the next best step is optimizing what you already have.
Addressing these issues can turn your website into what it should be: a reliable source of right-fit clients, not just something you hope people don’t judge you for.

Recently, we had a 4+ day stretch of nights as cold as -20 degrees here in Wisconsin. Temps that cold are pretty uncommon for stretches that long. One morning we woke up to a puddle next to the furnace. My mind instantly started wondering: did a pipe burst? Did the toilet leak? Do we need to call the people who installed it three years ago?
With a little logic, my husband and I figured it out. The condensation line froze, so the pump had nowhere to push the water to, and it spilled over onto the cement floor. We ran a space heater where we thought the line might be frozen. Within an hour, it was working as it should.
The relief of realizing we didn’t need to replace the whole furnace, we just needed to understand what was actually going wrong. That’s what these website assessments do. They take the guesswork out of the problem solving. Instead of wondering what’s broken or trying random fixes, I show you exactly what’s happening and how to fix it.
I work with coaches, service providers, and small business owners every day who have this exact problem. Their services are solid, their work is great. But somewhere between “hello” and “let’s work together,” visitors are slipping away.
The best part? Many of these issues are simple fixes. Maybe it’s an SEO problem. Maybe it’s a strategy issue. Sometimes it’s even an accessibility problem that’s keeping certain visitors from being able to use your site at all.
That’s why I offer free 30-minute website reviews. I’ll show you what’s actually happening on your site, what works and what doesn’t, and give you a clear path to turn your website into what it should be: a tool that brings you right-fit clients.
Before we even hop on a call, I go through your website with a fine-tooth comb. I’m looking at everything. Where people are clicking (or not clicking). What’s confusing them. What’s making them leave. I’m paying attention to the small details that quietly cost you clients.
Then we spend 30 minutes together on a call where I walk you through exactly what I found and cover the key areas I suggest prioritizing.
Here’s what I’m typically uncovering:
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is what helps people find your website when they search on Google, other search engines, or even in AI search results. When it’s working well, your site shows up when potential clients are looking for exactly what you offer. When it’s not, you’re close to invisible.
You might be doing things that are actually hurting your rankings without realizing it. The good news? Many of these are easy fixes.
I’ll point out the technical issues that are keeping Google from finding or trusting your site, and show you how to fix them so both search engines and real humans can find you more easily.
This is where I see the most missed opportunities.
The problem usually isn’t your offer or your pricing. It’s how you’re presenting them and guiding people toward the next step. You might be asking for too big a commitment too soon. Or your call to actions (the buttons or links that tell people what to do next) might not be working the way you think they are. People want to work with you, but if they have to think too much about how to move forward, they leave instead, and you miss out on connecting with people who would’ve been a great fit.
Not everyone who visits your site is ready to book right now. And that’s okay. But are you giving them a way to stay connected?
During the review, I’ll share ideas for follow-up strategies that can turn “not right now” into “yes, let’s do this” a few weeks or months down the line.
I’ll also look at how your branding may be contributing to people not booking. Often, small tweaks to better showcase your vibe can make people feel more confident about working with you.
When I work with my custom and semi-custom website clients, they know I’m there to guide them toward what’ll bring the best results. Sometimes, having someone explain the strategy behind the choices helps everything click and suddenly it all makes sense. The same goes for these website reviews. I’m not here to tell you your site is broken beyond repair. I’m here to show you the strategic changes that’ll help your website feel more aligned and actually lead people to the next step.
After the call you’ll walk away with a checklist of exactly what to prioritize. These are actionable steps you can tackle yourself to help your site attract more right-fit clients, build trust with search engines, and guide visitors toward booking. You’ll know exactly where to start and what’s going to make the biggest impact.
This free website review is perfect if you’re a coach, consultant, service provider, or small business owner who wants to turn your website into a tool that is finally a reliable source of new clients.
