The process starts with a detailed questionnaire. I designed it using all the expertise I’ve gained over the years, and it helps me zero in precisely on your vibe. (I consider it a deep dive into you.)

Next, I’ll invite you to an online “lounge,” AKA a space where all your info is organized. You’ll have access to a timeline, details on the process, and resources that will help our work together flow like a smooth, lazy river. After that, we’ll have a kickoff call.

This is where the magic happens: Now, I customize your website template with your copy, images, and branding. I’ll send it over with a detailed Loom video. You’ll have one round of revisions included to make any adjustments before we finalize your design.

After your website design is finalized (hurrah!) I launch your new website. I care deeply about your success, and I want to ensure you know how to navigate and tweak your new website for years to come. That's why we end the process with a live, recorded Showit Tour.

A: For the most part, we’re working within the structure and format of the website template. That being said, we may add, remove, minimally edit, or reorder the sections to best align with your needs.
Q: How much customizing is included in a semi-custom website?
A: When I design a custom website, I am starting from scratch and creating a website that is specific to your vision, needs, and business model. I create custom pages and add unique features. With a semi-custom website, we’re starting with one of my Showit website templates as the basis for the design and customizing it with your copy, photos, and branding.
Q: What is the difference between semi-custom and custom website design?
A: Yes. You will provide your existing brand assets, such as your primary and secondary logos, brand fonts and colors, and any custom images or patterns before we start your semi-custom website design. If you don’t already have these elements ready to go, you can add a custom brand experience to your semi-custom design! Click here to learn more about custom branding.
Q: Do I need to have my brand assets in place before getting a semi-custom design?
Frequently Asked Questions
A: You can pay the $2,100 in full, or split your investment into three monthly payments of $700. If you need an extended payment plan, please let me know and we can work together to accommodate your needs.
Q: How does your payment plan work?
A: I can absolutely customize a Showit template from a different shop! Please note that I cannot make price adjustments to the service if you’re using a different template. You will purchase that template on your own. One of the perks of choosing an Artisan Kind template is that the cost of the template ($450 by itself) is included in the Semi-Custom Website Experience.
Q: What if I want you to customize a template from a different shop?
A: For most of my semi-custom website clients, one round of revisions is perfect, but if you’d like additional rounds of revisions, I’m always available to hire for extra edits!
