WELCOME TO THE WEB DESIGN + BRANDING BLOG FROM ARTISAN KIND
A project very close to my heart. Sharyn and I have known each other for years, I actually rented my first apartment from her (a stunning victorian right on the bike path and a serene 5 minute ride to university). When she asked for my help designing a brand and website for the cherished neighborhood flower shop she took ownership of, I was over the moon!
Sharyn Moss is a designer through and through. With a keen eye for detail, and a passion for making memories she has the ability to transform any space into one of love and warmth. I only wish you could see the way her eyes light up when she talks about her dreams for this historic little shop.
I was ready for the challenge to create a brand identity that would live up to her vision and excite patrons.
Four Seasons Floral has a 62 year legacy and was one of Eau Claire’s first flower shops. Sharyn’s goal was to honor the history while also bringing a welcoming, vintage, and upscale feeling to the brand.
We truly wanted the brand and website to be as much of an experience as the shop would be once renovations were complete. A joyful, easeful experience that makes you feel a little light, that gets the creative wheels turning, and inspires thoughtful gifting.
And so, we set to work! Four Seasons Floral’s brand design features sapphire, brown sugar, and blue-gray hues that portray a sense of calm and warmth. The logo is an elegant sans-serif font with a vintage, timeless feel. Floral and striped brand patterns mimic upscale textiles and pull in Sharyn’s heart for interior design.
Every aspect of the brand design and website emphasize the shop’s values of quality, thoughtfulness, joy, comfort, and creativity. The designs are soft and inspiring, a way to support Sharyn’s mission to restore the lost art of gift-giving through unique treasures and charming blooms.
This project was a true honor and I can’t wait to visit the shop myself.
