Call to Actions, also known as CTA’s are important pieces of copy that are woven throughout our websites, social media content, email lists, and any other form of marketing material. These small, but mighty pieces of copy serve as the road sign for the reader, guiding them very clearly to where and what we want them to do next.
But it always seems that when you need to write a CTA, your mind goes blank.
When you search for CTA’s you’ll normally find a list that is better suited to large corporate businesses with lots of products, discount codes, and huge sales teams. The wording can feel too cliche or salesy for a small service based business.
That’s why I wanted to create a master list of website CTA’s that service providers, like you, can refer to for fresh inspiration when you need to encourage action from your audience.

The following CTA examples are split up into categories: Services, lead meagents/newsletters, and miscellaneous. CTA’s are not exclusive to those categories so feel free to mix and match where they might fit on YOUR unique website.
And of course, have fun with weaving in your own language to these CTA’s. They are simply templates to get you started!
A great CTA can encourage visitors to sign up for your newsletter alone. A great CTA paired with an appealing lead magnet is a sure way to grow your list full of eager ideal clients.
